The four parts, explained simply.

No jargon, no fine print. Here's how our advisers answer the questions we hear every single day.

JD
What does Part A actually cover?10:02 AM
Part A is your hospital coverage. It pays for inpatient stays, skilled nursing and hospice — and most people pay no premium for it. 10:03 AM
Part A — Hospital
  • Inpatient hospital stays
  • Skilled nursing facility care
  • Hospice care
  • Limited home health services
SL
So what's the difference with Part B?10:11 AM
Part B handles everything outside the hospital — doctor visits, tests and preventive care. It has a standard monthly premium. 10:12 AM
Part B — Medical
  • Doctor & specialist visits
  • Outpatient procedures
  • Preventive screenings
  • Durable medical equipment
RW
Is Medicare Advantage the same as Part C?10:24 AM
Yes — Part C is Medicare Advantage. It bundles A, B and usually D into one private plan, often with extras like dental. 10:25 AM
Part C — Advantage
  • All-in-one bundled coverage
  • Often includes drug coverage
  • Extras: dental, vision, hearing
  • Annual out-of-pocket maximum
BN
I take three prescriptions — do I need Part D?10:38 AM
Most likely yes. Part D covers prescriptions, and enrolling on time avoids a lifelong late-enrollment penalty. 10:39 AM
Part D — Prescription Drugs
  • Brand-name & generic drugs
  • Plan-specific formularies
  • Pharmacy network pricing
  • Avoids late-enrollment penalty

How It Works

A simple conversation, start to finish.

1 Step 1
Tell us your situation

Share your age, your doctors, and the prescriptions you take. Nothing complicated — just a short conversation so your adviser understands what matters to you.

Step 2 2
We compare your plan options

Your adviser reviews plans from 30+ carriers available in your ZIP code, checking that your doctors are in-network and your medications are covered.

3 Step 3
Review side by side with your adviser

Go through a clear comparison of premiums, coverage and out-of-pocket costs. Ask anything — there's no pressure and no cost.

Step 4 4
Enroll with help — we handle the paperwork

When you're ready, your adviser walks you through enrolment step by step and stays available afterwards if anything changes.

FAQ

Questions our advisers hear most.

MR
Adviser reply

Most people qualify at age 65. You may also be eligible earlier through certain disabilities, End-Stage Renal Disease or ALS. Your Initial Enrollment Period runs from three months before your 65th birthday month to three months after.

JT
Adviser reply

Part A is usually premium-free if you or your spouse paid Medicare taxes for at least 10 years. Part B has a standard monthly premium, and Part C or D costs depend on the plan you choose. An adviser can total up your realistic monthly and annual costs before you commit.

AM
Adviser reply

Open Enrollment runs October 15 to December 7, with changes taking effect January 1. There's also your Initial Enrollment Period around your 65th birthday and Special Enrollment Periods triggered by life events such as moving or losing employer coverage.

DK
Adviser reply

Yes. During Open Enrollment you can change between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage, or swap drug plans. Medicare Advantage members also have a Jan 1 – Mar 31 window to make one change. We'll review your plan every year at no cost.

MR
Adviser reply

Usually yes. If you skip Part D without other creditable drug coverage and enroll later, a permanent late-enrollment penalty is added to your premium. Many low-cost plans exist specifically for people who take little or no medication today.

JT
Adviser reply

There's no catch and no fee. Our advisers are compensated by the insurance carriers when someone enrolls, and plan prices are set by Medicare — so the premium is the same whether you use an adviser or not. You're never obligated to enroll.
